Zircon is an athletic 7 yr old gelding ready to find that perfect jumping partner. He is tall, expected to mature at 16’3 or 17’, and is light and quick. He is out of C Quito, a well accomplished hunter/jumper stallion, and Zingara, a proven 1.45 grand prix mare with a fabulous mind. As Long Farms homebred, he has been brought up with constancy and patience including great show miles! In 2021 as a 4 yr old, he finished 5th in the finals of USHJA Young jumper Championship in Traverse, MI. This year as a 5 yr old, he has clean 1.15m young jumper rounds in Thermal, CA, as well as Tryon, NC. He is simple, observant but not spooky, water is no issue, and has a natural instinct to go to the other side of the jump. He travels well, is not difficult to handle, and wants to please.
