Aimee Hanson-Benvenuti / Riley Benvenutiahriverbend

Aimee’s professional career began working for Rudy Leone at Leone Equestrian Center. She also worked for Dr. Bob Hunter at Hunter Stallion Station where she learned to breed and imprint horses, and care for horses that were sick or injured. She had 4 years experience working at a hunter/jumper breeding farm where she learned to handle, break and train young horses as well as give them show miles. Along with the experience of managing a hunter/jumper facility, Aimee learned the proper care and feeding program necessary to have beautiful healthy horses. Then in 2005, Aimee coached the UC Davis Equestrian Team.

Since 2004, Aimee has operated Riverbend Equestrians. She and her clients have been very successful on the “A” Hunter/Jumper show circuit. Aimee has excellent communication skills with horses and riders and has successfully trained clients at all riding levels. She trains horses from green-broke to the advance jumper divisions.

Aimee enjoys teaching her students to become better riders. Her barn is like family where each client is special, and every horse receives special care and attention. Aimee strives to make each client’s riding experience enjoyable.

Riley Benvenuti rode with Aimee Hanson as a junior, and became a partner in the business in 2016. Under the watchful eye of Aimee, she has become an excellent rider, trainer, and horsewoman.
