Tiz Toussaud
Pulled from the track in July of 2021, Bruno was predominantly restated and ridden by an amateur, however, an intermediate ten-year-old has been riding him for the past two months and he has been used for lesson students here and there as well. While Bruno is safe and uncomplicated enough for a youth/intermediate rider, he does currently require weekly pro rides to help with fine-tuning. He would be fine without pro-rides for an experienced junior or amateur working with a trainer.
Bruno is schooling 2’3”-2’6” courses but has popped over some individual 2’9”-3’ fences with room to spare. He was hauled off property this past January to participate in a schooling show where he placed in all of his classes. Bruno also loves dressage and thrives off of flat work. He is schooling first and second-level movements
-Stands for the farrier, wears a full set of shoes, lives in front belt boots 24/7
-Okay being turned out alone or with others. Mares, geldings, ponies, youngsters…you name it.
-Goes out on trails alone or with others. If with other horses he does best with confident horses as he will feed off of nervous energy (doesn’t happen in an arena).
-Can be ridden bareback and in a halter. Has gone completely bridleless but needs practice steering.
-To be bluntly honest, he is not an easy keeper. This guy needs more than hay and pellets to stay looking his best. A mix of Renew Gold, Magnesium 5000, Purina Ultium and Beatpulp will be your best friend.
