Moonstruck "Snoopy"

Share

Moonstruck, affectionately known as Snoopy is a barn favorite! He's a curious young horse that is eager to do his job. He was bought as a project jumper prospect, only being sold because the owner has decided to switch disciplines. He was started over fences at Hunterbrook Farms with Nick Haness Since his year being in the program, he has been brought up from trot fences to now showing 1.10 with a professional and a junior. The junior was fairly new to showing in the jumpers, so Snoopy was her first time around the 1.10. He is young and green but he knows his job and will pack her around the bigger fences. At home, he is schooling 1.25+ and has jumped 1.30 with room for more. He really is such a steal as he was a late start with not a lot of wear on his legs, an insanely confident demeanor with a good brain, and he is fine-tuning all his buttons for the eq. He goes on trail alone and with others, and through the water no problem. He was gelded a bit late due to his lack of work in his early years, so he doesn't have a dull bone in his body as geldings often do. It genuinely is such a hard sale for us as everyone has grown to fall in love with this boy and his big goofy personality, but his owner and him are on different paths in life. If you're looking for a horse to bring into the big eq and jumpers, this is your guy. He doesn't have a ton of show miles but he thrives in a show environment--he will walk into the jumpers with no prep.
