Don Sandro or “Sandy” (as we affectionately call him) is looking for his next person. This is a difficult sale as Sandy is a real life black unicorn with an absolutely kind, loving and hilarious personality.

8 year old, black, 16.2 hand, Hanoverian gelding bred and born in Germany. Sandy has completed 5 FEI events through the 2L level. He would happily continue eventing and be the Young Rider winner, put in perfect, technical rounds in the equitation and medal classes, be smooth and quiet to take care of his rider in the hunters, gallop and be careful in the jumpers, or would love to dressage all day. Sandro has beautiful gaits and lovely changes and is starting piaffe and passage.

Sandy’s work ethic, brain and heart are all top notch. He’s amateur friendly and will take a joke all day but never holds a grudge. He loves to travel and compete, hacks out and trail rides wherever you want, loves ALL kinds of attention and treats (especially grooming and bananas) and he’s honestly the most fun horse to have in the barn. Bonus: He poops and pees in one spot in his stall AND pasture!

Sound, sane, beautiful and ready to win for you (and be your best friend). Located in Aberdeen, NC. Price reflects quality.
