Sapphire
Sapphire is a fancy buckskin 6 year old half-registered PRE Lusitano (Sire) x Andalusian/pony (Dam) mare standing a hair shy of 14 hh. She is smart, an eager learner, has a great work ethic, is gentle and friendly. Scores in the 60’s at Training level dressage and placed 1st, 2nd and 5th at her first jumping show (cross-rails and 0.65m). Her lovely temperament and excellent ground manners means that she is wonderful to bath, blow-dry, clip, haul, shoe (currently barefoot but has been shod) etc. This forward moving mare goes in a happy mouth snaffle, and has comfortable uphill gaits. She lives with mares or geldings, has zero herd-bound tendencies and is not "mare-ish". Hacks out on her own, comfortably schooling jumps 0.8+m, no buck, bolt or spook, sound and healthy, up to date on vaccines/teeth. Price to increase with training and showing experience, she is ready to find a confident child or small adult amateur to love her!
